New haircut. My Olli Herman-inspired ‘do is now complete. Plus, Kurt, my stylist might be one of the coolest guys ever. I want him to be my bff. We chatted about the New York Dolls for a good majority of the time while the surrounding women gawked in horror (seriously, I could see shocked faces in the mirror) as my hair was getting razored off.

Saw Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on Christmas Eve. Nothing like starting the holiday weekend with some violence against women. But, seriously, it was fantastic. I have yet to read the books but I imagine they’ll be joining my collection shortly.
Having seen the original Swedish movie version, I personally felt this one was better. The original wasn’t bad by any means…it just didn’t strike me as powerful.
The characters in the American version were more relatable and just seemed to *work* better together. While both versions, obviously, have some difficult to watch scenes, I felt they were more justified and tastefully done in this version.
Plus, these two together? Hot.

It’s official…I need to write an autobiography. My life has too many surreal moments to be considered normal.
