Another brief update.

Arrived safely back to Minnesota after a fantastic week in New York City. Tons of sights were seen and I have a clearer picture on boroughs I would feel comfortable living. Now comes the buckling down and seriously look for jobs in the city. Many, many thanks to the friends who allowed me to crash at their home. Let’s make the next time we see each other be sooner than the last, yes?

Saturday was John Oliver at the Pantages Theatre. That man can charm the pants off of anyone. His comedy routine was far better than anything I could have predicted.

Now? Currently residing in an Omaha hotel for the next couple of days. Marketing conference with work folk. Sharing a hotel room with two coworkers and, in a sad/humorous image, the three of us immediately went online upon checking into the room.

Pictures from my travels to eventually be posted. Possibly when I’ve stopped living out of a suitcase.

After months of purposely avoiding shows (combination of me attempting to be more fiscally responsible and lack of artists that really stood out this summer) I am getting back into the swing of things.

Upcoming Shows:

Michael Ian Black. 9/15- Varsity Theater. Technically not purchased yet. But I’m without a doubt going. Despite the fact it falls on my father’s birthday.

John Oliver. 9/24- Pantages Theatre. A 4-day late birthday gift to myself.

Minus the Bear. 10/10- Varsity Theater. Playing “Highly Refined Pirates” in its entirety? Yes, please.

Portugal. The Man. 10/13- First Avenue. This is a maybe as I’m semi-seriously contemplating visiting the best bud in NYC during this timeframe. Which also happens to be Day 1 of New York Comic-Con conveniently enough…
