Judging by this diagram, the planet and mankind should currently be:
Suffering from a dystopian Britain full of orgies, milk plus, and ultra-violence.
New York City should be a maximum security prison
Taking voyages to Jupiter, controlled by one of the most evil robots-who-feel to have ever existed.
And souls are suspended by a “spiritual switchboard” and everything is for sale.
Close enough.

Actual image FAAAAR too big for Tumblr, but I recommend anyone interested visit the website and check out the statistics.
Interesting graph showing how much music an artist has to sell online before making minimum wage. With information like that, I suspect more labels will be pulling out from streaming websites like Spotify. Yes, the concept is good. But when Lady Gaga’s song “Poker Face” (one of the most popular songs on Spotify) makes only $167 a month, I don’t see how it’ll ultimately benefit independent artists. They may receive more exposure (although I’m not entirely sure how much more they’ll truly receive) but will that equate to listeners actually purchasing albums and/or seeing musicians live? Spotify, and similar streaming websites, are still too new in the US market to predict an outcome, but I imagine this will be a controversial issue in upcoming months within the music industry.
