Moments ago I finished watching Sherlock. Wow. Can season 3 be here now?

The Reichenbach Fall. I knew Sherlock was going to “die”. In every variation I can recall (books, movies, etc…) Sherlock fakes his own death at least once. Still. I was not prepared for that buildup.

Previously I mentioned not being Moriarty’s biggest fan. Either he toned down the squawking or it worked for him in this episode. Either way, Andrew Scott did a brilliant job. I wanted to strangle the character whilst praising him for being such a mastermind. Shame he won’t be coming back. Granted, I don’t think the show could continuously go back to Moriarty but it’s always nice to have that ONE arch nemesis. Ying to the yang. Both sides of the coin. Even The Joker to Batman. 

John’s goodbye speech? All the feels. 

As for how Sherlock will make his triumphant return? I’m not going to bother with other people’s speculation. All I have in my mind is Molly plays some role as well as that cyclist who “accidentally” ran into John. 

There’s going to be lots o’ Sherlock reposts this week. I’ve spread them out as to not bombard all at once.
